Our History

Chemists Without Borders was founded in 2004 by Bego Gerber and Steve Chambreau as a result of a letter ("An Ailing Cure") that Bego sent to the editor of Chemical and Engineering News in September 2004.


Our Ethics

Please see Chemists Without Borders' Rules of Engagement here. Our core beliefs emphasize ethical practices. We also align ourselves with the Code of Conduct and Guidance on Professional Practice of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and The Chemical Professional's Code of Conduct of the American Chemical Society.
